Draped bust of Bahram V to right, wearing an elaborate crown with a great korymbos in crescent on top; two ribbons rising from behind the crescent; to left and right, ‘mzdysn bgy – wlhl’n MLKAn MLKA’ = ‘mazdēsn bay Wahrām šāhān šāh’ (‘The Mazda-worshipping Lord Bahram, King of Kings’ in Pahlavi). Rev. Fire altar with ribbons, flanked by two attendants; to right and left, ‘ʾtwl – wlh[l’n]’ = ‘ādur Wahrām’ (‘Fire of Bahram’ in Pahlavi); to the left of the flames, ‘LD’ = ‘Ray’ (‘Ray’ in Pahlavi); on the altar shaft, traces of ‘lʾst’ = ‘rāst’ (‘true’ in Pahlavi).
